Frosthaven Digital Files at Kickstarter?

Hi there,

Do you plan to start a new kickstarter project to fund for additional Frosthaven tiles that will be needed for that expansion?

Or will the frosthaven digital files be also available for anyone who bought the "All in Pledge" for Gloomhaven

Or secondary, do you consider to even make one new overall package Frosthaven + Gloomhaven All in Pledge?

I consider buying a full set, but of course will be looking for Frosthaven also :).

Hi Erik, we know everyone has been patiently waiting for Frosthaven themed terrain. We've been busy on the research and design process in the background while still continuing to fill orders for our current terrain offerings, as well as maintain our normal day jobs and family responsibilities. A lot of the preliminary designs have been completed, and we're currently in the test and improve phase of the terrain design process. Hopefully we'd like to launch our newest terrain crowd funding campaign before the end of the year, so roughly mid November to early December is the goal. I'd expect us to put out some decent preview pictures next month sometime.

Hi Erik! Sorry for the late response, but yes, we are looking at releasing a teaser soon. No promises but we’re hoping to launch our snowy northern themed KS3 late November. More details to follow.

Love the enthusiasm! Not a lot more to report since our last update below in March though. Because we both have day jobs and juggle TST between our very busy careers and families, it's going to take some time to research, plan and execute our roll-out our Frosthaven. We are working behind the scenes though. Rest assured when we have a meaningful update, it will be shared.

Hi there, scenariobook Frosthaven is available for some time I think :).

Any plans on releasing FH designs? Even only metal and ice terrain are very much needed with the FH backerkit set almost arriving…

Yes, Jeff and I have both had our copies of FH for some time but as you may have been following, our focus has been on delivering the abundance of stretch goal content that was unlocked during our Winter 2022 Kickstarter. We are about to release the final piece of content, the day 1 backer bonus STL, any day now. Once that is released, we have officially concluded that Kickstarter and will finally be able to dive into planning and prepping for a Frosthaven-compatible themed Kickstarter. We have some cool ideas and are pretty excited about what we can create, we'll keep the community updated 😊

Hi! Frosthaven terrain is definitely on our future terrain projects list, but first we need to finish out the final remaining terrain theme from Gloomhaven which we haven't designed yet: Indoor-Themed Terrain. This project will entail a complete set of town-themed terrain pieces to give everyone the chance to really build out any of the scenario themes from the base game. We have already begun initial design work on this upcoming Kickstarter campaign, and hope to have a good selection of terrain and stretch goals in the near future.

For Frosthaven terrain we need to wait until we have a scenario book in-hand so we can thoroughly examine the contents and scenario themes in order to come up with the most appropriate extra terrain elements possible that will match the game's levels and themes.

The All-In Pledge as it stands right now will only cover the terrain that is currently released up to this point. Any future terrain we release moving forward will have its own cost associated with it, as only the previous terrain was covered in our last Kickstarter campaign.

I just want to say thanks for the wonderful terrain, I have backed both projects now. However the sheer amount of stuff can be overwhelming and if painted correctly the cave pack can easily be used for frosthaven. I would much prefer a frosthaven expansion to the existing packs to keep the cost low and not having to print out / pay for a ton more stuff that is well unneeded. but that’s just my thoughts.
