Good Evening,
I just tried printing my first set of Cave Nests. I noticed when they were done that there was some weird cracks left in the eggs that I don't see when I look at them in your pictures of printed terrain. I was wondering if there was a certain way I should be printing them on my FDM printer. I have an Ender 3 Max and am using the Cura 4.10 settings.
Any suggestions would be helpfull.
Thanks
From what I can tell Cura is putting those gaps in when I slice the model....
Hi there. Are you able to post some pictures of the cracks? What layer height are you printing the nests at? I’d recommend .12 or even .08. Keep in mind that the cave overlay pack is one of the few TST packs that was designed to be printed in resin to capture finer detail (the photos you are referring to are resin pieces). There is therefore going to be some trade off when printed in FDM. But if you post a pic and provide more info on your Cura settings we can try and optimise your results.
